Deer Lodge, A very historic town, & home to 'the Little Joe' locomotive , but the town will always remind us of our new found friend Gary, After settling into out motel for the night we soon got talking to our next door neighbour Gary. he turned out to be a modern day Cowboy with a few tales to tell. We all went for a drink & returned back to our Motel porch with a wine or two as we listened to his wild escapades like rounding up wild mustangs by helicoptor. He astounded us by reciting his memories by poetry he had memorised.He certainly was a Character with plenty of experiences. We hope to meet his wife Jeanne one day & stay in touch with them as he's a great bloke & certainly made our holiday.(Thanks Gary).
